What Is SilentSand® Acoustic Board?
SilentSand® is a 15mm acoustic board filled with compacted sand granules. These granules move microscopically when sound energy hits the panel, converting sound energy into heat through friction. This internal damping makes SilentSand® extremely effective at stopping airborne noise such as talking, TV, traffic noise and low-frequency rumble.
